Valco Manufacturing Inc. Supplies Components to Support the Construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge Project

Since October 2020, Valco Manufacturing Inc., a Valiant TMS company, has been supplying fabricated structural components to Bridging North America (BNA), Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority’s private-sector partner responsible for designing and building the Gordie Howe International Bridge project. Valco Manufacturing has provided three packages of collar tie assemblies and tower crane ties manufactured to BNA’s specifications to support tower construction on the Canadian and US sides of the bridge. These structurally-critical components (identified by white arrows in the photo) secure the cranes to the bridge towers during the building process.

Currently, the bridge project is one of the largest infrastructure activities taking place in Canada. We are honored to support this once-in-a-generation project.
