University of Windsor Capstone Design Demo Day 2025

The University of Windsor Faculty of Engineering’s Capstone Design program provides fourth-year engineering students with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges. By combining technical expertise with hands-on experience, students develop innovative solutions within their chosen discipline, bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry application.

Last week, Valiant TMS representatives attended the Donor Appreciation Breakfast hosted by the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Engineering to celebrate organizations for their Capstone endowments. It was a privilege to join fellow supporters who recognize the value of the Capstone Design program and the bright minds it helps cultivate.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore this year’s projects as part of Capstone Design Demo Day and connect with Jeremy Le, a former co-op student who is now a team member at Valiant TMS. Jeremy served as team captain of the UWindsor Lancer Aero Design – Regular Class team, whose aircraft design earned remarkable results at the SAE Aero Design East competition in Fort Worth, Texas, this past spring:

  • Top 4 in Canada
  • Top 15 worldwide in aircraft design
  • Top 27 overall internationally

We’re proud to see our contributions shape the next generation of engineers and excited to see how Jeremy continues to grow with our team. A warm welcome to Jeremy, and sincere thanks to the University of Windsor for their meaningful partnership.
