Supporting Those Who Support Us During COVID-19

Emergency Use Bag Valve Mask Actuator Concept

As news of the urgent need for ventilators became apparent, we started work on a concept design. We knew we needed a low cost, highly reliable system that could be built fast. We decided that a system that could actuate an existing BVM (bag valve mask) was the way to go.

We are extremely proud to announce that we have built and are testing a prototype that can be used in an emergency situation. We’re hoping it will never be needed, but if it helps just one person, we’ve accomplished our mission. We’re grateful to everyone on our team who helped bring this idea to reality in under 3 weeks, including the medical advisors we had to steer us and validate our concepts.

3D Printed Face Shields for Front Line Workers

In partnership with the University of Windsor, Valiant TMS is 3D printing and assembling face shields in our Additive Manufacturing Lab for front line health care workers. It’s one way we can support them as they work to support us.

Support for Families at Ronald McDonald House

Members of our team normally volunteer to prepare and serve our ‘Meals from the Heart’ dinner at Ronald McDonald House Windsor. We can’t do that right now because of current precautions, but we’re hoping a small donation can help put some groceries in their pantry and allow their staff to prepare a meal on our behalf.
