We are seeking an Office Administrator at our Automation and Assembly division, who is focused on providing world-class technology solutions to our customers, programming customized equipment such as Battery Tray Assembly and Battery Assembly and Test Systems, Leak Test Equipment, Industrial Parts Washers, and Material Handling Automation.

What you’ll get to do

  • Be the face of Valiant TMS, being the first face-to-face interaction with our customers, suppliers, and potential new employees
  • Greet and welcome guests to the facility, and ensure that proper sign-in and safety procedures are followed
  • Work in a dynamic role collaborating with different departments
  • Administration:
    • Manage switchboard calls, emails, and mail
    • Maintain and update reports
    • Order meals as requested
    • Provide administrative support to the site leadership team
  • Payroll:
    • Ensure accurate input, processing, and balancing of daily payroll functions
    • Record employee absences
    • Process vacation requests
  • Employee Welfare:
    • Main contact for wellness initiatives at 222 Eugenie Facility
    • Update monthly newsletter

What you bring

  • A positive and welcoming disposition
  • A high-school graduation diploma and/or a post-secondary diploma in office administration
  • 2+ years experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
  • The ability to work well with others in a team atmosphere
  • Strong computer skills – MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, SAP
