We seek a Material Handler to join our Automation and Assembly group, focused on providing world-class technology solutions to our customers, such as battery tray assembly systems, battery assembly and test, leak test equipment, industrial parts washers, and material handling automation.

What you’ll get to do

  • Receive, verify and inspect in-coming material and supplies
  • Assist in the shipping process of finished jobs
  • Maintain racking inventory to accommodate required inventory and support a detailed and reparable part tracking system and process
  • Establish and maintain part staging and holding areas as required for production, machining, painting and other related manufacturing activities
  • Input information from packing slips/invoices into SAP, daily filing of purchase orders and packing slips or faxing of and freight of pro bill to the buyer and/or customs administrators
  • Assemble “kits” necessary to build components and deliver the “kits” and other needed parts to the correct workstations
  • Participate in the monthly and yearly inventory process
  • Segregate various residues generated during routine operations at the warehouse, with the cooperation of the janitors
  • Keep order and cleanliness in the workplace

What you bring

  • High-school diploma or equivalent
  • A valid forklift license with experience in a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience using an overhead crane
  • Experience in receiving process in a heavy manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and Office software
  • The ability to work with others in a  team atmosphere
