What you’ll get to do

  • Cultivate and nurture existing and prospective client relationships to achieve company and divisional targets.
  • Leverage your market expertise to contribute to the development of sales strategies, objectives, and targets.
  • Foster connections with key clientele and decision-makers across all procurement levels.
  • Promote and cultivate a culture of teamwork and collaboration among Valco Manufacturing team members and our clients.
  • Proficiency in using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool (Salesforce) for efficient account management, metrics provision, and report generation.
  • Create and implement a strategic plan to identify and develop specific market or customer sector-specific opportunities.
  • Serve as the company’s representative at industry and client-centric gatherings including tradeshows, networking events, and client visits.

What we’re looking for

  • Experienced Experts: Leverage your post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a related field, coupled with at least five years of expertise in engineering, manufacturing, project management, or business development.
  • Innovative Leaders: We value candidates with metal manufacturing or fabrication experience, especially those with a proven track record in customer knowledge and business development across diverse clientele.
  • Solution-Oriented Experts: Demonstrate your ability to analyze customer needs and deliver technical sales support and solutions, showcasing strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Diplomatic Collaborators: Showcase well-defined diplomacy, negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills, as you collaborate with team members to achieve divisional objectives.
