We are seeking a Project Planning & Coordination – Installation BIW who is focused on world-class technology.

What you’ll get to do

  • Ensure receipt of all external department deliverables to the Install Department are provided complete & on time
  • Attend design review meeting to become familiar with the equipment to ensure a smooth installation process
  • Verify BOM items, and ensure consumable and support equipment is shipped for installation
  • Initiate installation kickoff meetings for team members prior to work in field
  • Attend and review Internal Buyoffs
  • Review customer’s spec for compliance, reporting & administration for shipment
  • Update teardown layout
  • Ensure completion of installation site review meeting with the customer
  • Assist with maintaining and updating the personnel matrix
  • Support the project team with other tasks as required

What you bring

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a Technologist Diploma, or a skilled trade certification with sufficient experience in Engineering or Manufacturing disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience in a custom design and build manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in welding and closure assembly equipment and technologies
  • A proven initiative, analytical ability and decision-making skill set to complete projects accurately and on a timely basis
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Project
  • Familiarity with customer and internal quality specifications, standards and requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-based working environment; experience leading teams is preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel within North America are mandatory. The preferred candidate will have a current work visa (TN or L1B), or be qualified to obtain one
