We are seeking a Project Planner to join our team and support our Automation and Assembly and Body in White divisions.

What you’ll get to do

  • Provide technical support and services required to plan and monitor the details of projects, including analysis of schedule deviations and corrective actions that ensure project completion
  • Collect, analyze and communicate ongoing detailed reporting of schedule performance relative to timing using Microsoft Project critical path management techniques
  • Gather and interpret task progress of the Program Delivery Process including departmental tasks and purchase component deliveries relative to baseline program timing
  • Forecast program timing and report critical path deviations to the Project Management team
  • Schedule and lead status meetings with cross-functional project team members to identify and resolve issues relative to program timing and progress
  • Maintain detailed forecasting of various departments’ timing and workload requirements to aid in forecasting risks and opportunities for current and upcoming programs

  • Excellent business judgment, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Industrial/ Mechanical/Manufacturing or Management engineering
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks and demonstrating attention to detail while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with proven leadership ability
  • Knowledge of the automotive machine/tool industry
