We are seeking an experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to help create and deliver compelling communications that demonstrate our capabilities and build our global brand as a leader in industrial automation. As part of our global marketing team, you’ll work with technical and multimedia professionals to conceptualize and execute communication strategies and campaigns that focus on customer engagement and employer branding, are relevant to current market trends and are meaningful to a knowledgeable audience.

What you’ll get to do

  • Collaborate with sales and technical teams around the world to define content requirements
  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality content that builds connections and encourages our audience to take action
  • Apply and enforce written and visual brand standards, acting as brand ambassador for internal and external communications
  • Configure and optimize company social channels to increase the visibility of our content and grow our audience
  • Create and manage a social media content calendar and moderate user-generated content
  • Capture and analyze web and social data, metrics, and insights to determine best practices and continuously improve our strategy
  • Develop, evaluate, and optimize website content for SEO and CRO
  • Plan and organize exhibits at industry tradeshows and promotional merchandise

What you bring

  • 5 years of experience working in marketing communications
  • Applicable college diploma, university degree, or demonstrated skills and experience
  • Professional research, writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Extensive hands-on experience managing social media channels, especially LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook
  • WordPress experience
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking and organizational ability
  • An impeccable sense of appropriate and responsible corporate communication
  • An eye for design (graphic design skills are an asset)
  • A background in the manufacturing industry is preferred, but not required
  • Fluent in English (working proficiency in German is an asset)
  • A portfolio of past work is required
