We are expanding and looking for an Account Manager who is a motivated self-starter with experience in the robotics, automated material handling, and manufacturing equipment space supporting the consumer goods, white goods, warehousing, packaging and material handling industries.

You should be a strong leader with a strong technical background who can work with our internal team to leverage our current automation expertise supplying innovative automated solutions to build a diversified customer portfolio and business unit in this exciting and expanding space.

What you’ll get to do

  • Lead the development and acquisition of new customers in the automated equipment space
  • Provide direction, coach and mentor our internal stakeholders to develop a key strategic plan leveraging our expertise in the automated material handling and equipment space
  • Keen knowledge of the market and developed relationships with key customers, and decision-makers at all levels of procurement
  • Demonstrate and encourage teamwork and cooperation with all Valiant TMS Team Members, customers, suppliers and others affecting or participating in the business process
  • Provide metrics, reports and success criteria for sales and related activities
  • Participate in and contribute to the Sales and Marketing Team’s strategic planning and goal-setting processes with respect to identifying and developing alliances, market or customer sector-specific targeting and communication initiatives to close or grow customer accounts
  • As required, represent the Corporation, as a member of the Sales and Marketing Team, externally at industry and customer events such as trade shows, networking venues, visitations, etc.
  • Effectively communicate the “Valiant TMS” brand identity to the customer base

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical, engineering or business studies
  • A minimum of five years experience in engineering, manufacturing, project management or business development in the white goods, consumer goods, warehousing, material handling industry and comparable sectors
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Applications, with an enhanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, specifically
  • Proven, and superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution and people management skills
  • The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; and the ability to work with others in a team atmosphere.
